The integrated 2D editor for Ranger XL is now available. The editor provides a quick and easy method of producing manufacturing drawings.

The drafting tools can be used to create assembly and mechanical drawings, typically related to the PCB designed within Ranger XL, although other drawings can be created, such as required for front-panels and enclosures.
The artwork can have simple items like dimensions and notes added although comprehensive tools are available to add lines, arcs, circles and cross-hatching and to manipulate the data as required. Construction features are available to divide lines, arcs and circles into equal lengths and the projection of lines at user-defined angles.
