Ranger2 XL - Demonstration Software

We have divided the Ranger2 XL software into three files so that problems down-loading large files can be reduced. The files can be down-loaded one after the other, but follow the instructions below for unzipping and installing them.

Step 1. Ranger2 XL needs a license in order for it to run.
Demo licenses are available free from Seetrax (if provided by email).
To request a demo license, please fill out this form. Then return to this page to continue with the download.

Step 2. Download Ranger2 XL Software Ranger2 XL Software - this file is approximately 4.1 Megabytes.

After downloading:
Place the zipped file in a new folder on your system, then unzip it (using PKUNZIP/WinZip).
Select START, Run, browse to the new folder, then select setup.exe. Follow the instructions on screen.

Step 3. Download Ranger2 XL Schematic Libraries Ranger2 XL Schematic Libraries - this file is approximately 2.5 Megabytes.

After downloading:
Place the zipped file in Ranger2 XL's master hierarchical circuit library folder, which is by default:
C:\Program Files\Seetrax\ranger2xl\masters\hiercir
This can be checked from within Ranger2 XL as follows:
Select Start > Programs > Seetrax > Ranger2 XL, then select File > System Setup. The paths are displayed in this window.
Unzip the downloaded file.

Step 4. Down-load a manual - two manuals are available:
For those who want a quick start/overview the Quick Getting Started Guide is available. It is approximately 30 pages, 370 kbytes.
For those who require more detail, the Full Manual is available. It is approximately 120 pages, 1.6Mbytes.
There is no need to download the Quick Guide if the full manual is down-loaded.

After Downloading:
